Quality indicators:
Why should leading doctors and nurses
be important to you?
Board-certified physicians and
nurses have completed training that a specialty board requires. They
have practiced for a specified period of time and passed a difficult
written and oral examination. Board certification is generally accepted
as a good indication of competence and experience.

All of the
radiologists for Women's Center are board certified. Pictured (L to R)
are Dr. Mark Vacarro, Dr. Angela McCoy, Dr. Nancy Pennington, Dr.
Charles Brekke, Dr. Rebecca Stough and Dr. Carol O'Dell. |
