Outpatient
diagnostics will relocate to a more convenient space for patient access

labor and delivery, along with related diagnostic services. This center
will have its own entrance

A new campus entrance will direct patients and
families to hospital services, creating a completely new face for Mercy Memorial Health Center
-
The intensive
care unit will be expanded from
10 beds to 13 beds.
-
Expanded, convenient parking will provide a
solution to a present problem with patient flow and accessibility for
patients, families and visitors
-
All
existing services remaining in the existing building can be expanded or renovated
into the space as needs demand
-
The master facility plan has identified
expansion space for all diagnostic services to address growth for the
foreseeable future
-
31 additional physicians will be recruited over
the next five years to
accommodate future growth. Mercy Memorial Health
Center spends
approximately $1.5 million annually in physician recruitment and
retention efforts. This project will assist in recruiting physicians and medical professionals to our
area.
Southern Oklahoma Medical Plaza provides an office
building for physicians near the hospital. The Medical Plaza is across 14th
